been away so keeping a eye on this from sporadic wi fi points. Can anyone confirm if we can invoice D&G for those mfi jobs covered by their warranty? I am not a D&G agent so would be appreciated if someone could let me know the name of a contact within D&G I should speak to.
One big surprise on my return was a few cheques from AIG, assuming they clear, as they will have cleared their account with me, right up to date. AIG, for so long the rogue has now become the only part of the MFI debacle to have cleared their debt, with me at least. Now begs the question, should I take on any MFI/AIG jobs given they are invoiced directly?
Also now have my MFI spares statement which is showing Septembers (oh, how I wish I took them up on their 60 day credit terms now!) invoices and one dated 4th October. Assuming I do not pay this but continue to do the odd MFI chargeable or othewise, will they put my spares account on stop when they are now a new company as from the date of administration as they keep telling us? I do not owe MFI Group a penny.Got a couple passed by email today. the bumpf on the bottom of the job sheet has been changed to reflect that they are in administration but there is no official order or signature from any of that lot listed on the Kroll letter. Needless to say I have rejeted. one of them is an AIG who were on stop aready anyway before all the MFI admin business.

think some of those have a microswitch on the belt pulley that cuts the motor if the belt fails. Could possibly have a problem there.
the realy sad part if they do vanish is that extracare were a damn good supply of various spare parts that are difficult to source elswhere.

It was so bad in fact that next Wednesday I will be boarding the same ship for an 11 night cruise round the Canary Islands. 8) We will dock in Tenerife on the 19th, call round and have a look at my little yatch Bazza. 😆

Thanks Halo, and yes, I have had he card reader sitting in my van for several months now and not yet had a instance to use it yet. Would have thought this may have been mentioned on the latest partfinder or at least a slip of paper in the box telling us that.
anyone need a good old fashioned eeprom C00194074 I have one to spare!any idea how much the card is? no doubt will have to pay £5 transport cost as well. Part number not recognised on partfinder or connect.

Ally, that one has a door swtich, suspect bad connection or burn out there. Its in the left side panel (when viewed from the front) can zax you a diagramm if wanted.

could be the board transformer dead or, more liekely a flooded base, water on electrics seems to kill the board dead on these. Often a dry out period brings it back to life. As for the reason for the flooded base………god knows is normaly the answer.Re: MFI
Well, after a day of running around here there and everywhere for MFI customers (Haverhill Suffolk to Theydon Bois!) I get home and find a “complaint” email that a mfi customer has reported me as being “rude and obnoxious” The job in question is an AIG one which I have put on hold until we get paid some outstanding amounts and have not yet completed. Guess the customer is fed up waiting and has gone to any lengths to get her machine done. I phoned her up as she obviously does not know the meaning of rude and obnoxious……she does now.
