There isnt a quicker way, some do it upside down others prefer the top off way. with a bit of practice you can get it down to 40 mins or so but its not a job to be rushed. Use the search link above to find the many threads devoted to this subject.

I regularly get invoices for parts sent to other agents yet invoiced to me and the resulting statement and overdue account letters, despite phone calls and letters complaining it all gets cleared then starts up again. Have not done a warranty job for them in 2 years or so!

Must admit, never had much luck changing these as the paint often came off with the old sheet leaving un unsightly but visible mess underneath.

As I said, look like a complete cowboy then as you bang away with disaproving looks from customer.
So that is an NTC where the old driers had a toc…… hence the dodgy reading I got with me megger 😉

It wont loose its data, as it has no power when switch off anyway, not to say that static might not wreck it though and sometimes its tricky to get them pins back in the socket without an insertion tool. as anyone who changes indesit eeproms knows all too well.

err.. try connect £2.72 and I think their carriage is only 5.50. p/n:31239XA assuming that is the full model number you quoted?
