    Re: Wolseley Parts Centre Website

Spareslink are far truer to genuine rrp (whatever) than connect who’s retail price’s are not relative to anything really. My spareslink shows 61.94 trade but only £14.98 to me 😯 to me. (do we have another casse of selective disounting here?)

Back to parts centre though, did recieve a lovely pop out piece of junk mail from them today, kept me amused for all of a minute or so.

Cannot remember the last time Bosch diswashers did have a pressure switch.

    try here Paul:

for a start but there are plenty of threads on this subject. try the search feature.

check also the quickfinder application at: http://www.bshappliancecare.com/Bosch/boschspares.html

Ariston branded aeronaut 😉 , my favourite was front view of a wild west steam train.

Smeg still produce the retro FAB28 fridges in orange, lime and pink among other colours. For the patriotic customer a Union Jack version which covers the complete door. I`m still waiting for my first order on one of these 😉

    Don

    Dont forget Smeg’s candy stripe!
I think although these products attract interest in the showroom, not so many people fancy them in their kitchen. Hence manufacturers dabble now and then, they dont sell too many of them and the spare parts implications must be enormous.

I assumed this was going to be Spam, considering the thread title :rolls: , and was about to delete it.
The answer is no, in my case.

If your mainly in towns and know the place like a taxi driver then you probably wont need it. If, however, you need to find distant farmhouses in the midst of nowhere then you will be amazed how well the 7 didgit postcode features work. Customers look at me when i arrive in amazement that I didnt call to get directions, as if the mobile phone would even work in their area. (we all know how vague customers directions can be when they make the booking)
The moral is, if you get sat nav, make sure it has 7 figure postcode features as they dont work on house names.
I too had my cartogrophers boy scout badge and love maps and would never trust all to sat nav, but lets face it you cannot drive and use a map at the same time.

Do you remember the dreadful William Woolard? For years he used to call a roll over bar (ie on a convertable to stop you loosing your head) an anti Roll bar. Not just once, i mean every time he reviewed a drop head. Those really were the bad days.
Still think 30 mins would be enough with the current format. You gotta admit, Meercat Manor is far more interesting.

What do we feel is a waste of space in an otherwise excellent programme. Don’t say Clarkson, like him or loath him, there is a good mix; from his bullishness, to the tranquility of Captain Slow, then the Hamster fills that gap.

My vote goes to a “star in a reasonably priced car”. What is the point in it all? Leave the chat shows to Parky. This week summed it up having Fat Tongue Boy, Jamie Oliver.

    Alex

Well, Mr Oliver gave a good account of himself, despite wrecking a car whilst practicing.
The Rubbish filler is the laddish bits that take up most of the programme. ie. Roadmending/caravan burning/boring us all wrecking a Toyota truck etc. The way they try to make it look all unscripted…… Lets face it, the Monte Carlo Rally and the Daytona 24hours has been ignored by the motoring media in the past week or so and yet we have to put up with this stuff.
    Did James May do anything?

ps. congrats to J P Montoya on winning at Daytona!

Its often nought more than water penertration through the facia console, especialy when situated below a drainer, as most of them are. Although the dispenser coils damage the modules, they dont often “blow” them in the way I presume you mean here, ie. black and frazzeld components or track. A poor heater wire connection or dry joint on the heater wire tag can also arc and burn as well.

Agree with what you say but the programme is still 50{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} filler rubbish. Would make a great 30 minute programe. We could then have 30 extra minutes of Meerkat Manor.

Blimy, talk about re opening old posts. there are 2 fans for these and in my expereince, even the model number wont help identifying them. the only difference being the hole size for the shaft. One is about 1 mm larger than the other and for that reason i have to keep both in stock. Sorry cannont help sort out which is which for you though.
    small type hole
    31001317

    larger hole:

    31001043
speak to Maytag on 01737 231000
there is a circlip to reatain these as well.
ps: dont try to force the smaller one on the larger shaft, that was the reason for my fans splitting 😳 there is also a clip, just a sprung hose clip around the shaft, this may have dropped off and be in the vent somewhere, you should find it along with any broken blades as they can re appear and break the new fan.

    Re: Hotpoint BWD20

Right complex Smeg machine that one. 3 modules, one of which, the smaller of the 2 in the box at the lower front of the machine, controls the drier. One thing to point out is that the condenser valve is not energised immediatly, as with many machines these days it comes on at some point but not nessesarily at the start of the programme. I think this one may even do a minutes spin shortly after the start of the dry cycle and should energise the valve after that. ALso, you may not get a feed if the valve coil is open circuit so it is worthwhile slaving on any good valve coil to see if you get a feed then. I have got a service manual for that range but its not so helpful.
