Simon, i have used 5k6 resistors on these for many years with no repeat failures even. 6k2 is a non standard reisitance and are very difficult to source without having them specialy made. Should cause no probs mate.

oh! Check the wiring to motor from module then. Could be a nasty ££$$ problem if not.

What you describe is a typical brush problem. Suggest you remove the brush module on the rear of the motor and take a look. Meggers often give a good reading on brush problems due to the dust etc.

Try ordering it though, see what comes… or dont bother I can tell you what comes. I have got 3 of them to prove it. Free to the first person to PM me requesting them, Bosch filters 601996!

Thanks Steve. pm sent. It was the long handle type I knicked from the new pump so I think you are right.

Springs are built in to the hinges on that one Jim, can be changed from below, bit of a fiddle but not too bad a job. part number 152 02 03-60/3 is for a pair.
