If the auto is flashing than it will almost certainly be in auto mode and the oven therefore will not work. Cannot give you advice on setting but it usually involves pressing 2 buttons as well as the + –

Think you will find that the cut outs dont fail, infact they work so well the cooker cuts out pretty fast if the initial device is, as often they are on this range, burnt out. Repeat failures are rare however so the device may have been improved.

Installed the new 2006 v2 yesterday. Good news is that it uses neither IE (so it now doesnt trigger pop up blockers when closing) or Adobe 5 any more! Runs and comes with Adobe 7.
Also, those of you with pro corner access, there is now a heap of service info on there rather than just parts info as before.

The fronts haven’t hinged for some years now. I guess they have finaly joined the 6kg club though.

I dissagree, most Miele customers like them to look like their old one(which they probably bought 15 years ago), despite it being totaly different inside. And that silver door has been in and out of fashion so many times…… To change it so much is like AGA making a spaceage looking range…yuk. Hope they continue the ‘traditional’ machines alongside those horrid new ones.

If it is an ‘induction’ motor, then it is brushless. Is the drum turning ok on wash with a heavy load? also, have you cleaned the filter lately?

Try £11.02 +VAT Mark, still nowhere near connects price though.

    Greg

I know, £8.82 is the price I am paying inc discount.

A bit off this topic, but Connect all the same. Just wanted a dispenser top for a Bosch washer, part number is 289674 £8.82 from BSH, thought I might add it to my connect order instead, luckily I checked the price…..£35.32! they laughingly quote £48.28 as the RRP!

    Re: Refrigeration Tech books

did a lot of research on this a few years ago and there was/is naff all about domestic refrigeration out there. All the books are great for theory but usualy only include a outdated chapter on domestic stuff and nothing about breaking into systems/ electronic controls/ frost free etc. A gap in the market i feel, must get around to doing it after I have finished my novel and all the other stuff I keep thinking about writing.
