No its just an informal thang to see who we may be meeting as screen names cannot always be matched wiith faces at the time, as you found out Martin with Iodom last time.

Re: Diplomat / Hygena app 2410 cooker hood

look above the hood, there is often a 3 pin plug and socket on top of the kitchen cupboards. No one can ever find them. Ensure any replacement fuse is either a 3 or 5amp, if the fitter used a 13 amp fuse it will probably mean the switch, as above, is blown instead of the fuse.

    Re: where is it

Its inside the drum, often tricky to remove. would probably recommend you seek expert advice. Plug out before removing any panels.

Check the heater for earth faults, causes all sorts of odd faults on this one, also the door lock could be at fault. Cannot look up part number as Connect has messed up the Brandt part look up on Mediator on line and most of the common models are not there.

    Re: Magnetic pump design.

Good question, the 2007 is more than twice the cost of the other. The usual difference between the older screw on askoll’s was that some had cut outs on and some didnt. Maybe its the same with these square, twist on ones. (that are easy to break when un-twisting by the way)

    Re: Solarplus grills

The only problem with the solar plus grills are the expensive replacement cost when they fail. Same with the halogen rings.
Dont know of a solar type grill on a Bosch but the fan oven elements have a tendency to fail and the genuine replacement is not cheap. Having said that, most fan ovens seem to be having a high failure rate of elements these days.

    Dave.

Yes, it does indeed come with it along with new jubilees to fit it, and a bung or two for holes in the chamber that may not be required. It also includes a couple of new clips for the clear softener feed hose that runs underneath.

All in all not too bad a job….just be a little careful about deciding where to cut the old chamber off.

He might mean the hose from the watersoftner to the air break which the old one is always just too short to be safe, i used to use the old zanussi washcraft dispenser valve hose (a useful piece of hose as it could be bent through all angle without kinking) but that is now over the top price wise.

    Re: wm73 – E15-Heating element

Forget the element, its not related. E15 is a not draining fast enough code, maybe the drain hose is blocked or restricted?
