As for using the rest of the group, i have always been peeved at not having an HRPC account when their invoice comes with the same logo as parts centre have.

You say no build up of frost in freezer but have you revealed the evaporator? Its usually out of sight behind the back panel inside the freezer. It may be frosted up and points to a defrost heater or timer problem. do need model details though.

Well my Physics teachers name was Mr Dave Conway! Unless he figured out some kind of Magnetic field inducted age limitation device, he’s not the same one on this forum…unless of course he knows better….Mr Conway, did you teach at Enfield Grammar in a previous life?

Job completed this evening, new pump and another new timer fitted and its away. I removed the pump cover and found one, yes one, strand of the copper windings had melted (due to the piece of glass caught in the pump)into the toc which is pushed inbetween the windings. Its melted the insulation on the toc (which hasnt blown interestingly) and casued the short circuit.
Its cost me a packet but its a reminder never to get too complacent in this trade.Re: Wierd WMA

Washvac auto superceed that number with a 1603410 full drum a tub kit that we already know about. I cannot get any info other than a part description off partfinder. Not even a price.

Bosch use a double cold valve that may be one half duff or the dispenser top section may need replacing if blocked internaly. Neither are an expensive job but it is one for an engineer.
