I dont know what a charme range model is but the only epidemic Candy leaks I recal from our time as an agent would be the wd262 washer drier getting airlocked and filling itself up while drying or turbo 21 range all being delivered with cracked filter housings due to them being fitted so low that the sack barrow used to deliver the machine breaked it even when in its box.

Yeah, the official repair is a new inner door assembly. Maybe need more model details to help though.

Prob wont be a Blomberg as those were German made, The only Ocean I can find is a WM1000GB but it should have a 921000107 number on the rating plate. The Brandt exploded diagram is so crap I cannot read the item number for the door seal and god know what Brandt describe a door seal as as none of the descriptions fit. TBH Brandt will be the only place to find that.

would suggest holding the draw itself rather than the handle on the front as this usualy breaks off.

I dunno, we have all this technology available at our fingertips that 15 years ago would have been thought of as science fiction and we are complaiing about the noise of the little fan! Bring back telex machines and mechanicle typwriters. 😆

Good job Bryan, and great to hear from satisfied customers. The saddest thing about Mrs/Ms Borra’s experience is what Servis UK have done to the quality name of ASKO. They have all but wrecked what could have been a Miele type success story.

By the way, what was it Bryan a 5p stuck or brushes?

Could be a bit more serious than that. As the interlock will not release until the timer/control is certain that either the drum is not turning or there is no water left, a problem with either of the deices that detect that could be the problem.

Hey Chris something else we have in common, you completed a cartoghraphy degree while I passed my boy scout cartography badge, pretty much amounts to the same thing really I reckon given that students dont really do any work away from the student bar anyhow.
Mind you, maybe you could do a better job than the guy who designed this and who is to blame for getting me lost severral times today.

    Re: Hanning Pumps?

A case for buying gen pumps really. Never used any bosch or Aeg pattern pumps since an aeg item melted once and burnt out the timer board and door interlock. The later Hanning items certainly dont look a patch on the original Hanning with fan type.
