    Re: Mozilla Firefox

Only been running it a week or so and have had my first “critical update” already.

Well worth a try and I notice that we’re getting more and more hits from Mozilla based browsers, I think I know why now.

You can tell that Ken? What else do you know about us? what we had for breakfast? 😉

Can get you a price tommorrow but be warned its not a diy job by any means. If you are going to get someone to do it, then they will be able to supply it at no risk to you.

£30 on a £700 retail, you have to aske yourself why bother?

Hotpoint used to sell direct, if you stocked a large enough range, not sure now though.
    Have you thought about CIH?

Ian, the model number will be on the side of the door,(can be seen when the door is open) right hand side as you look at it. if not then try the left side!

E9 is normally the pressure chamber blocked. Not possible to clean it out that well and replacement is the best cure, not too expensive but probably an engineers job.

If you cannot find anyone that knows about these machines then Miele will be the only option.
I cannot believe there is no one in that area on this forum.

Perhaps we might want to get the year correct on those agenda’s.

I notice we a slated as a 10 am start, seem to remember the grumpy old mangager at Sibson was reluctant to let anyone in before midday before. I guess they know the start time, right?

    Re: Miele G575 problems

There is a good chance that it is only the high pressure; pressure stat blocked or failed (usually due to grease build up).
Not particularly expensive (but no Miele part is cheap) but it would be a shame to scrap a good dishwasher for such a small part.
Not really a diy job though.
try and find an engineer on: http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/search/fi … ineer.html

Did they not leave a reciept with address on? If his add is in yellow pages he must still be around, keep trying and withhold your number so he cannot tell its you. Fight this as we all hate this kind of practice. there is no ‘heater motor’ if he has changed only on thermistor then he has 2 and a pcb as well.

Re: SARENA Dishwasher (who makes them?)

never mind who makes it, what you need to find out is what the service arrangements are if it should go wrong under warranty. Brandt dishwashers are often found in built in’s with Hygena/Hotpoint/dedetriech and many other names on them and are genreraly OK, but it doesnt mean that Brandt will be the service agent. Get your kitchen fitter to supply the service phone number and ring them up.
