OK I just found your other thread. TBH E2 is not usually related to the timer/pcb. You may just be blocked and the period it was not in use may have just made it worse. Check under the little black flap in the sump under the filter, its a pipe with a 90 degree turn in it so dont ram anything to stiff up it, a small flexi bottle brush may do it.
I think you may of miss understood the re set instructions, look again. but TBH you dont normaly need to carry that out, only if you have activated the test programme. just selct P0 and shut the door, when it stops then try the wash programme.eastlmark

ModeratorRe: “E90” on a zanussi washer
funny enough, actually not funny at all, I had to fit one on an AEG today, and it was not the first one this machine has had as the config code was not marked on the old module (thank you proffessional Service force agent!) so I had to re fit the old module to read the code and note it down. (not sure what you would do if this was not possible) anyway after config the E90/E93 number came up and it took ages to work it out, some config codes are “B” and others “6” but on the led display these are dead easy to confuse and thats what I did. Once sorted away it went. One to look out for I think.
Dont forget to memorise the code after configuring it, The manuals are on the TDS disk.eastlmark

It seems the door interlock is stuck as he had to use the emergency release to open the door, despite the presence of a door handle. The module doesnt appear blown in any place so I have ordered an interlock and will update when fitted.

Yeah, its a complex beast we know, but there are no fault indications to point us in the right direction. I havnt heard the outcome yet but no doubt it will be booked in for our senior technical manager (ie me) to visit it again who will pretend to look like he knows what all these flow sensors and rinse sensors actually do.

domt know that machine at all but that fault was always down to a blocked condenser on old Hotpoint washer driers.

But to add to eastlmark’s comment the top prize in this area of machine design goes to Candy/Hoover. Without doubt a breakthrough in total incompetence for their continued insistence in those stupid plastic trims and the sliding mdf worktop. Which means the machine has to be dragged well beyond its own depth in order to simply take the lid off 👿But of course the word “slide” should be used very carefully, once the worktop has soaked up a load of spilt water and swelled “sliding” is not exactly the word i would have used. It seems Candy never learnt their lesson about this and I cannot believe they still do it that way. (I am sure Alex will continued this thread)
