that is the correct supersession, however it also lists C00143605 as a replacement for certain models….but not the one you have. Maybe the tub has been changed during its life? just a suggestion.

Bingo!, no I am not seeing that. Probably due to it not being my original post ( I was editing R600A’s original post). If I start a new topic then I do see the 4 options. In short, don’t worry about it Ken! thanks for getting to the bottom of it though.

Select to make sticky on the radio buttons.

    Set day number if required.

    Save.

but there isn’t a radio button for sticky, only:
    Normal Announce Global

and just adding the days in the box contradicts this:

“Enter 0 or leave blank for a never ending Sticky/Announcement. Please note that this number is relative to the date of the post.”

confused. oh well, why was it so much simpler before?

need the “wm??? model number but the usual one is this:

    5. Fit an electrical jumper between the new inlet
valve and the 3-way valve, see the electrical
    schematic diagram.
    6. Install a new wire from IV3 to the programmer
header connector E4-3, see the electrical
    schematic diagram.
    7. Reprogram the program controller. Press the
Enter button 5 times and then the P4 button
5 times. Within the next 3 seconds press one
of the following buttons to make your choice:
arrow left: Cold water (C shown on the display)
arrow right: Hot water (H shown on the display)
Enter: Mixed supply (E shown on the display)
3 seconds after the last button press, the program
will return to its original state.

If you leave that blank Mark it stays a sticky. If you put a value in it runs as a sticky for that many days IIRC.

so, why is it not sticking then?

Grundig conjures up images of wood grain and massive (although small by todays standards in width in not depth) tv’s with doors on them, radiograms even. Teak effect finish on a washer maybe.

tweaked it slightly bit a bit bemused by this:

“Enter 0 or leave blank for a never ending Sticky/Announcement. Please note that this number is relative to the date of the post.”

as it is clearly not posted as a sticky. How do you post a good old fashioned sticky these days?

Re: In search of the fourth cord

how about a sticky “official conference 2014” thread stuck up the top and a “chat about conference” thread floating below. We can then move idle chit chat from one to the other and leave just important details in the sticky.

Re: In search of the fourth cord

all that aside, the conference thread has now stretched way off topic and is tedious reading for a possible first timer thinking of coming along, can I suggest the topic split to get it back on track without giving jamiesparrot ammo by deleting it?

    Re: 1606 heater + leak

its funny how so many appliance are unable to pick up something like a heater open circuit yet a problem such as an alternating valve on a smeg dishwasher will bring the whole appliance to a stop. I think most people would be happier if their dishwasher or whatever continued on regardless. Indesit and Hotpoint are the same with regard to the heater as are most others.

think you might need to look at that one first as there are 2 afaict, one has its own heater.
00607329 is for the small oven and fits on the lamp holder

the other one is 00602720 along with its heater 00030152
