    Re: Call logging software

Point taken but all businesses are not the same
Almost all of my service calls are taken on the run diverted to my mobile & are usually dealt with same/next day.
Nobody speaks to the customer but me so no confusion.
No insurance/warranty work so a diary does me fine.
I could have done with a call logging system a few years ago when life was run at a different pace and I needed to know what my staff had done on a previous visit but now there is just me and logging stuff in is just a chore.

Job done, cash/cheque in pocket, drink tea thankyou and off to the next job

    Suits me sir 😉

    Re: Call logging software

I get my call logging system from W H Smiths at a cost of £4 per annum.
    It’s called a diary ❗

Oh I forgot to mention you will also need a hard drive for a memory to remember where all the spares are and who they are for.
Don’t know who sells them though 🙁

Check two posts down on this forum for part info.
Best to let it defrost on its own while you wait for the part to come.

If it won’t do a defrost it is probably the defrost stat on the evaporator.
You will find it listed as “Cable harness bi-metal” 481232058132.

Just My personal point of view but I find polo shirts a but scruffy and I wear my UKW shirt for gardening & DIY.
I wear plain blue shirts from George & Asda costing £4 each which wash again & again & still look smart after months of wear & tear.
Good quality industrial trousers (pressed) Safety shoes(polished)
    Van(washed)
    Labour rate (appropriate) 😉

Just scrapped my mum’s old Ariston LB818 washing machine as spares are no longer available.
25 years old and only repaired twice.
That one did go on and on 😀
