No Bob it was for an insurance job and to be honest the door was goosed. I think it would take more a ball bearing catch to repair it!
Meanwhile the customer has sealed all round it with silicone.
    Thanks anyway!

It will probably just need a little adjustment to the fan blade. A simple thing but nonetheless irritating.
They’ll sort it out for you in a few minutes.

hello,if you have a manual, its more than likely that the image you have for the valve is a generic one.
if you can hear the valve click over, then it’s normal to assume that the valve is good.
one of the purposes of the condenser grill is to dissipate the heat in the refrigerant and so it will be warmer at the point of entry of the refrigerant and progressively getting cooler as you work down and across.
if you’re thinking that the valve isn’t re opening at the correct time, then the problem is likely to be with the control of the valve, ie pcb or sensor. it maybe worth having a good look at the manual and seeing which sensor does what. which sensor changes the valve over. the air sensor and the evap sensor have different functions.

I’m also confused as to why this was recharged. That would be the last thing to look at on this appliance.
A blockage does seem likely as does a faulty valve, although they are normally very reliable.
The valve can be checked via the electronics.
Are you in the trade KRD?

It was the Italian players fault. He had a chip on his shoulder.

If you can’t reach him, I’ll have his number. He used to bring them in to the uk.

It’s not too bad a job. Cutting away the old seal with a blade will reveal a channel that the new seal pushes into.

No it would suggest the ice maker before the pcb, although not being in front of it with a meter, it’s just guesswork I’m afraid.

Re: Liebherr GN2323 Freezer not cold enough

The sensor has to touch the evaporator for the freezer to work properly. There is an air sensor too and the freezer electronics take into account the difference between the two sensors in order to function properly.
The evap sensor switches on the fan and controls the defrost so I can’t understand why the fan is running or your methodology to be honest.
Are you sure it’s the evaporator sensor you’ve hung out or could it be the air sensor?
In terms of probability, your problem is likely to be with the evap sensor anyway.
The sensor is in kit form and does involve cutting and re joining.

Re: LG fridge freezer ice dispenser

So you’ve no ice in the ice maker tray?
    Is the freezer cold enough?
Is the ice bin in the door on your model?
I’d be looking for a small button on the ice maker. Pressing thus button will cycle the ice maker.
The likely causes of your problems are, water valve, ice maker or main pcb.
