How much training do you require to drill a hole, put a rivet in and change a back panel?

Hello, yes we’ve had it before many times. A new pcb will sort the problem out. It’s not often we get down to component level on pcbs any more.

    Cheers.

The one from manufacture is a foamed in one.
The repair involves leaving that one in situ and fitting the new one with the kit provided.
We don’t see many of these, but the fridge evaporator sensor is distinguished from the others by the green marking on the connector block.
If you cant find one on this site, maybe drop them an email. If you still cant find one, then Liebherr are on 0333 014 7888.

    Cheers.

Hi David, it sounds like it needs the evaporator sensor. On this model, it comes as part number 9590084.
It comes in kit form and all the instructions are supplied.

    Re: Lec Defrost Timer Sticking

Hi mate, I’m not familiar with this model, but I’d be checking the components on the defrost circuit, particularly thermal fuse or thermostat.
The timer could be going into defrost mode then waiting for an impulse from a sensor or thermostat.
If a thermal fuse or even the heater itself is open circuit, then that would be your problem.
I’m not saying that this is your fault 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}, but I’d be looking in this area next.

    Cheers.

    Re: Gorenje dishwasher GV60010 TOC

Just had a quick look on Connect and it looks like the value on the Baumatic part is slightly lower than the Gorenje one.
The toc is self resetting so it would probably do, although if it kept tripping, it would throw up an error code.
If I remember correctly on these, if the wash pump was a little weak, it could lead to the toc tripping regularly too.
Maybe worth checking the wash pump?

    Cheers.

Hi Allan, do you know if the values are the same? Can you see the values on the toc?

    Cheers.

Hi Tony, it should run when the compressor is on via the stat. If you give me the service number of the appliance then I could check the wiring diagram to be sure.

    Cheers.

Hello Tony, your Ranco stat will switch the compressor on between 6 and 4. So live in at 6 and down to the compressor from 4.
3 will be the feed to your light.
The fan will run in series with the compressor.
The Danfoss ones normally switch between 3 and 4.

    Cheers.

I’ve had the evap fan motor going almost short on these and then frying the board by taking too much power.
I’d be checking the resistance of the fan and I’m sure that will show you the issue.

    cheers.
