one reason some trade suppliers hide the actual part numbers as it stops shopping around so they can rip you off in secret.
Thats one big plus I give to Qualtex they dont hide part numbers

    Re: ADP8352 Door lock problems

had a few hinges bend and it causes this problem so its likely door has been strained. door wont feel any different as it will not affect the springs etcetera but the hinge reaches its closed position before the latch engages. After that your just bending things to try and close it and as you realise it wont

    switch closes with a magnet.
so find a magnet and with your meter connected move the magnet to touch it then away again and the meter should change

bit worried about the 70k ohms when open. it may be correct as they may have put a resistor across it inside. but if no resistor would expect a lot more

switch should be in the door at the top. you will have to remove the outer door first

switch is the first place I would look. to check it you would need to use a multi meter to check if the contacts are closing

    Beko tumble dryer DCU8230

    original symptoms blowing RCD

checked element found NTC to earth replaced element and still would not heat.
traced fault to resistor on board that had blown. nicked resistor off old Hotpoint board
    fault cured

nothing can be broken on installation, wear and tear is possible but would be unlikely to affect all 4 knobs

    Re: Stove knobs

there is noting you can do to add a push and turn feature on your existing hob. As far as I know all hobs have a push and turn knob and some of the later ones have a thermocouple which means you have to hold the knob down for about 8 seconds otherwise the flame will go out. this also means if the gas blows out the gas supply will stop after 30 secs or so.
As for the flame height it depends on what you are seeing. is it blue or yellow flame . if yellow could be a lack of air caused by dirt.
if you are in any doubt of its safety get it checked by a gas safe engineer or change it as basic gas hobs are not that expensive

well at the beginning of the thread you did a test on the thermistor and the reading are pretty close so I cant see why you got this error. Did you check the wiring continuity between the thermistor and the pcb ?
