Re: Miele dishwasher G1021i heating fault

not sure of this model but the ones I have seen have a pressure switch on the motor that detects pressure to stop heater operating if motor not running. If this fails or not enough pressure result no heat

Doing a quick google search I don’t like the look of them

    https://www.hellopeter.com/smart-insurance#

director change January to Mr Kumar Chetan Mankar

other director Mr Grant Richard Burrows is listed as both resigned and still active

account seem pretty small amount with highish debt levels

Mr Mankar also listed on another company Appliance secure limited last accounts show very low numbers

also Mr Mankar seems to be listed as MR KUMAR CHETAN MUKUND MANKAR for one company and MR KUMAR CHETAN MANKAR on the other. since both companies do similar things I can only assume he has a reason for the name change

if it were me money up front or no

    Re: How many repairs

From the paying customer the decision is in their hands. Its our job to inform of the current fault plus any faults we can see that are impending. We should also point out with expensive repairs that we can only guarantee the part we fit whereas a new machine carries a full warranty

    just my take on it

from quick google searches it looks like it might be a Speedqueen re badged by JLA

    you can go here https://www.speedqueen.com/

since it is rebadged you have not got the correct model number but it may be still on the machine somewhere when you get there. The American sites are more free with info so I would dig around with various models on the support section and see what you can find

    fairly simple to work out

new ring has a hot light connection so is open circuit till it gets hot so you will only get the element resistance across 2 of them

see picture put one meter lead here and go round the other 3 till you find the element

no ideas myself but you can ring them up and ask if its normal. Does not sound right as in my books if it says 5 mins I expect it to be somewhere near and once it got past 10 I would be asking why

Only difference is the front comes off completely (no hinge)

From the sound of it you may have an armature failure

Re: Proaction Dishwasher fault – any ideas?

    dont you just love it

the owners manual that argos links it too gives you a list of fault codes in the form E1, E2 etc
The machine has no display and there is no info on how to interpret the lights to get the fault number

suggest you ring them and ask them how do you know which fault it is when you have no display. You can complain about inadequate user guides that are not fit for purpose due to missing information

might get you nowhere but if you dont ask you dont get

    Re: Qualtex v Connect

well if Qualtex are making a fair profit at £10.87 how can any of them justify £38.

I assume this is the site Qualtex are pushing their closed accounts to shop at which is mad when ebay is probably cheaper
