ModeratorRe: Beko WMA641W can’t control spin speed
there is a magnet at the back of the motor that turns inside a coil to generate a small voltage. this voltage is fed to the module to detect the motor speed. if this circiut is not working then the fault you have will occur. it is most likely a broken magnet but may also be a broken wire in this circuit.
bad news is if the magnet has broken its part of the motor

check the clock (if it has one) first. if in auto mode it will stop oven working

therev are only 2 reasons why this could happen
1 faulty clock
2 faulty mains supply to the oven cutting out just long enough to set the clock to zeroif it is the clock it can be electrically bridged

if you had the mains off did you set the clock properly as most units default to off

have you looked closely at the wiring
from what i can see the black wire may be a jumper which will not be needed on the new element
but i cant see if its a loop

sound like the drum pulley is out of line at best a loose pulley at worst a new drum
has it been making a lot of noise of late
to sum up these are rubbish machines built to a budget. ie pay for rubbish you get rubbish

there are 2 companies that repair and test these modules
try contacting EMW electronics and see what they say

dont fit pattern elements its not worth it
