did you run it with wet clothes in
if machine does not detect dampness wont heat and aborts prog
what i do with miele’s ia get a wet peice of kitchen roll or a wet cloth (wet not dripping) and balance it on the brush gear at the top of the machine

the heater is easily checked with a multimeter on low ohms scale. likely as not if you get any reading it ok but your looking for under 100 ohms

ModeratorRe: New world Nw90Do Clock
just ring qualtex tech centre they will check the correct clock there and then
much better than connect’s email and wait system

ModeratorRe: Beko washing machine fault
the modern pressure switches are a variable reluctance not resistance (so resistance wont change) and i have been told if you blow in them you can destroy them

normally you can pull the wire through enough to joint it
you need to remove door front and lower panel. look at where the wires go you will see the idea

ModeratorRe: Cata oven lower element replacement
its a bit tricky but lay oven on its face
remove back
you then have to carefully remove the casing and the insultion to get it out
not very easy but gets easier second time around

to check you need to take the left hand side of the dishwasher off
plug in and set prog
if the water is flowing in its the flow meter or broken wires in the door
if no water is going in suspect Valve , water tap off or hose kinked. or broken wires in the doorif the programmer is in the door always check for broken wires first. they break as the go from the door to the frame at the bottom. be carefull as there are a lot of wires the same colour and if you just pull them you could end up with more than one broken wire and not be able to teall which way round they go
Hope it helps

ModeratorRe: Beko DSV64W dryer
its only a double element. it may have more then 2 element springs but there is only 2 circuits
element 1 600w
element 2 1400whave sent you some tech info
also check handbook i think from memory it only heats on half heat on timed progs
to get the normal progs working you have to put wet washing in

ModeratorRe: Aqualtis aqxxd door wont open
from what i can remember the aqualtis has the later type of quick open lock. at the botton of the machine where the filter is there is a green bit of plastic. if you pull this with one hand while opening the door with the other
if you can find it go to the hotpoint site and look for the owners manual and download it ( unless you have it ) the answer is in there
