    turn dial 1 click clockwise

    turn off and on again

some poeple say you have to disconnect motor for it to work not had that happen to me although you may have to repeat a few times for it to work

from the sound of it the triac that controls the pump is short circuit on the pcb

simple swop if you can solder

yes quality is a bit low

but from what i can see looks like it part of the power supply to the board. what has gone wrong with this transformer ?

    Re: Hotpoint WMUD942

does it pump the minute you plug in ?

the minute you turn it on ?
when you set a prog and start it ?

or a couple of seconds or minutes after you start it ?

first thing i would check for
1 anything that looks like a fault code
2 earth faults in the pump circuit( dont get as much these days as it blows rcd but there are still properties without them )
3 shorted pump triac on pcb

Re: White Knight BG442/1 cutting out

from the diagram i have found this is quite a simple unit

following your description of the fault it seems the motor stops and it all switches off from there

as this motor is fed directly from the timer i can only assume the motor overheat protector is tripping which is part of the motor

    Re: Lamona HJA8630 ON/OFF SWITCH

you need live on 2 wires and neutral on 2 wires (with the switch in the on position) for the unit to function

i would use a multimeter to check continuity of the switch with the power off

    Re: Lamona HJA8630 ON/OFF SWITCH

just because a switch clicks does not mean it is working electrically

and when you say there is power to the switch what do you mean?

you need a live and neutral in and out the switch for the machine to work

Re: Beko CDA660 fridge freezer intermittent circulation fan

i would say you are correct as there is no point haveing a fan running 24 hours a day it would make sense to switch it in with the compressor. you could do a continuity test to proove it

but my money would still be on the poss board capacitor

Re: Beko CDA660 fridge freezer intermittent circulation fan

    unfortunatly there are 3

    1 CDA660 FS 7511620008
    2 CDA660 FS 7511620010
    3 CDA660 FW 7511620009

since 1 and 2 dont have electronic panel will send you diag no 3
