    Re: Bosch washer

have done one earlier brushes had failed and machine locks out to save motor

sometimes it takes 3 or 4 attempts to reset

knob to 6 o’clock, hold spin speed button , turn knob 1 click clockwise . then release spin button , turn off and on again

not done it but should be ok if it is only relay

have you looked for earth faults? I only say this because if motor gets wet board sees this as a motor triac short. Not sure if heater is live or neutral switched so theory may not apply.
i would connect a lamp to the heater wires and see if it helped
also you should be able to get a reading across the relay if its faulty

    hope it helps

yes they can be a pig to get out

are pulleys same diameter? If so should be ok if not all the speeds will be wrong

heat. Warm it up with a blowlamp carefully !

the bolt has the blue threadlock on it. You want to get it warm so it becomes sticky and not too hot the plastic melts.

    hope it helps

    Re: Dishwasher Blowing Main Fuse

when you say main electric fuse i assume you mean the RCD which has the test button on it

if so, The machine has an earth fault but this can be caused by many things the most common of which are leaks and heater faults

    Re: Miele W970 Washer

probably just a faulty inlet valve

as valves get older the rubber splits and the water does not come in as fast so the machine senses it is filling up fast enough

a lot of miele valves can be taken apart ( take off coil and unscrew stem) and some non gen valves ( like qualtex val 01 and 02 ) will do the same ( most of the time ) so you can swop seals

    Re: Miele W526

most machine do an approximate time till you start them and then correct this when the water comes in ( ie water can be very cold or warm )
what you have to ask is does this affect the washing if not then why bother about it

this has got all the hallmarks of a pcb power supply problem

a lot of pcb’s use a capacitor to supply power to the board. its cheaper than transformers but they fail over time.
you are looking for a prob the largest cap on the board normally 1 or 1.5 uf

    look in here

for post that i and other have made

as far as i know there is only 1 sensor

there is normally a wiring diag to help you in these machines

from the kit europart list 66-ml-05

looks like a hotpoint sensor ( does not mean its swoppable )

but do a resistance test between the hotpoint one and the miele one at the same temp

are you sure no one has been playing with it ?

it should be fairly simple circuits so should be traceable but i think it may have been a diy merchant

take wires off start relay first and see if it runs

maybe some other member has got a diag to help you

Re: Dead Bosch Fridge Freezer KGE3301GB/05 – power supply?

maybe just a failed transformer and if you can buy that it may be less than £20 but you would have to hope no other components have failed
