    its a cable operated interlock
if you pull cable does door open ?
if yes its the mech if no its the interlock

you may get away with lubricating mech as they get stiff when they wear

Re: Zanussi Intergrated Dishwasher Fill Fault?

    try the following

let the machine start and wait till it starts to fill
open door and add a bucket of water if its a slow fill fault ie valve failure it should start to work when water get to correct level

    all access from the front

3 bolts round door and a couple of hidden screws top left hand corner front panel hinges out

could be relay or overheat stats that can be reset ( red button on top )

you will find a wiring diag and info inside machine to help if the last engineer left it there

    Re: Whirlpool 3RLEQ8033sw1

    this dryer works on vacuum

the motor causes a vacuum in the drum which pulls the air in over the element

    so you are lookin for

1 air flow problems which includes recirculation of the hot air

2 leaks in the drum seals if these seals leak cold air gets in but more important the air is bypassing the element causing it to overheat

    hope this helps

    Re: AWM5145 / 5 door boot

    thanks allsortd for input

cant be bearings hole is by door lock its like the outer drum was too close to front of machine or the boot had too much depth
some door boots used to have an indent moulded in to miss the lock
