Re: Hoovermatic Deluxe 3314L Tripping RCD

the armature is the most likely but field coils can go

look for build up of carbon dust around brushes in case thats it

you dont state which switch it is tripping but i am assuming it is the RCD which is the switch with a test button

all my suppliers are listing an armature but likely cost is around £50-60 but it may well be obsolete unless hoover has old stock

if you search for miele rinse light you get a few hits

    domesticbliss wrote about a w937
“Hi and thanks for your input. usually flashing rinse light does point to either/ and direction control relay on module board which also blows the 6.3A fuse on same board, preventing the motor from working.”

had a similar thing when a cutomer used machine with transit brackets in blew relay and fuse on board

    this may help

    Re: Amica awct 10 L

has all the makings of a board fault

sound like the power supply to the board is not good enough

ie say power supply 12 volt (only example ) relay pulls for heater so power rail drops to 9v under this load. motor starts to turn power rail drops to 7v when triac fired. relay drops out too little voltage to hold in. power rail goes up after relay drops out so relay pulls back in again and so on

got a board in front of me. there is a blue capacitor 2.2uF that provides power through a 100 ohm resistor. To proove these may be faulty there is a green capacitor
by the plug C2 470uF 25v put a meter on this while machine is running ( you could solder wires on if you find it easier) I would assume voltage should be around 20 to 24v if you start getting voltages below 15v you have a problem most likly the big blue capacitor

    hope this helps

within reason any triac will prob do

if its a motor triac you want 600v piv at 8a

pinch on off another board hotpoint zann indesit does not matter if its doing the same job will prob work

    Re: Whirlpool top loader

    which clutch did you fit?

    a) the coupling between the motor and box ( some people call it a clutch

    b) the spin clutch on top of the gearbox

if its b did you check for oil leakage from the box as this contaminates clutch and stop spinning

    Re: hotpoint door boot wire

to put it in a nutshell you need a pair of lonnose pliers with an angled end
the clip had a wire with 2 loops near the end and at the end hooks. you squeeze the loops till the hooks latch but you can only do it through the door as the front does not come off

    try http://www.amazon.co.uk/HYPER-CLAW-UK-2 … 37&sr=1-19

Re: Bosch 1200 Classixx Fault code

i assume you have checked motor for continuity on arm field and tacho
does this fault code come up immediatly you switch on if so some bosch machines need to be reset before fault code will go search forums for bosch reset

if not check pcb for solder joint problems

    hope it helps

this is a washer dryer. if it is the same board as used in the hotpoint washer dryers, the one mounted at the rear of the machine, then this is a known pcb problem
suggest you send pcb to emw for testing / repair

    Re: Amica AWCT10l

only time i had this error code was bad connection to pcb took connectors off put them back all ok

its got to be a wiring error check all cables to motor fron pcb. check first with plus off and check again with plug on pcb but not on motor
check you can read tacho from pcb with plugs on and spin motor to see pulses coming up

    hope this helps
