also at 2 weeks out of warranty she need to approach the retailer under the consumer rights act.
not fit for purpose and not of merchantable quality due to the time its lasted before failure

have you tried disconnecting the touch panel ribbon, if it has one, just after you start the programme ?

that way if it touch panel contamination it should stop

also be careful, there seems to be a mistake on hoover tech site. there are 2 boards, serial no dependant listed but they don’t state the serial no for the second one. they list both on connect but if you glance at it you would order the programmed board when I think its the other one

no one has stock either board

if the holes wont line up then even these wont go in

its only a small bent steel bar

As i said said above I have often used pop rivet tails

I have been asked to have a look at this machine which is showing error 04 – does anyone know what the actual definition is for this please as google just says “internal error” which is not very helpful.

I haven’t seen the machine yet so it may be obvious what the cause is once I get there but it would be nice to know what to expect beforehand if possible.

    Thank you

    Jem

thats what the owners manual says

we know its not door , fill or drain as they list fault codes for that

the whole domestic appliance market is now price orientated instead of quality. Driven by consumers who want to pay as little as possible

Top of the tree is Miele , next down is Bosch Neff and Siemans (same machine ). Going down from the is probably electolux which is Aeg ,Zanussi

then the lower makes such as Hoover, Hotpoint and Beko. A lot of Lamona products are Beko in disguise and Beko has a 2 year guarentee for a registered appliance

As for adding stuff, A lot of machines these days use an instant door lock. If the water level is low enough it will allow you to pause the programme and the door will unlock

you dont say if we are dealing with just a washer or is the machine a washer dryer
also some of the symptoms you describe can be caused by a faulty plug socket

short answer yes it can be replaced like any part
then the problem is the only trade site that lists the part says the price is about £500. dont know the retail price and that price may not be current or it may be obsolete

suggest you ring Stoves and ask them if the glass hob is available and at what price

then all you need is a local engineer to fit it

but it could work out almost half the cost of the cooker

can you claim as accidental damage on your household insurance ?

most ovens have a cooling fan. not the fan inside the oven it blows cold air around the inside and out over the door to keep things cool. if the fan fails then oven will do exactly what your is
if you remember when the oven is working correctly the cooling fan carries on running for 10 mins or so after the oven is switched off

speaking for myself its unlikely to have any value unless you have another machine of the same model no to repair and its old so getting rare

    if it is F12 try
take the lid off and look at the wires going to the control panel. remove the plug from the board and replace it

F12 is a communication error between the 2 boards. it can be as simple as a bad connection. the top connection is the most simple to get at but could also be the other end on the power board. if it does not work and you wanted to go further you could try and locate the plug on the power board and remove and replace that
