Moderatorwell in normal operation the water in the tray should evaporate with the heat of the motor
if this is getting to the point of overflowing then moisture is getting into the fridge ( poss door seal) and its no way normal
tell them to take a jump. its not normal. if water overflows it could get on the electrics and cause a fire
you can start putting pressure on the retailer for a product thats not of merchant quality.

Moderatorit will be a leak
remove the lower outer door wrapper
remove the kick strip at the bottom
this will gove you access to a metal cover held on with 2 torx 20 screws.
remove this and look for water in the base
mop this out and the unit shouls run
now run the unit with the covers off but watch with a good torch and look around the base for leaks

Moderatorwell see if the board can fire either valve first
dont forget if one valve has lower flow it wont go into right section so it could still be a faulty valve

Moderatorsounds like a loose connection on the board . caps dont normally fix with a bang
are all lights flashing because fault codes show on progress lights while all the rest flash

Moderatoron the simple side there is often a seperate fuse for the microwave section. sometimes these can fail for no apparant reason so its worth checking
keep away from the magnetron and high voltage circuits

Moderatorok the fact you have a hum does sound like the tranformer may be energising
this transformer has an output of about 2500V this arrives at the magnetron at about 5000V DC
really is not something you want to be messing with unless you know how to discharge the capacitor. Under fault conditions there can be lethal voltages in the unit long after it is switched off

Moderatorthats the front NTC temperature sensor
detects heat not moisture. it can be use to detect moisture by measuring temperature differences between the front and rear temp sensors
