normally just inside the door. open door and if you held a mirror inside the drum you could see it

do you use tumble dryer sheets because these can coat sensor giving false reading. if not give it a good claen and see how things go from there

some dryers allow you to alter level of dryness, dont know with this model without looking in owners manual

there are really only 2 ways to do it

you can have a damp sensor such as a metal strip. normally at the bottom of the door appature inside or the drum can be split electrically to sense moisture

or you use the temperature differences between the front and back temp sensors to calculate moisture content

I dont know which this uses due to tech info or decent photos of parts

all these dryers go though a test proceedure using the water vavle before the fan is started. if it fails it will just abort. first one to look for is E73 which is front ntc. its common for the wires to snap as it attaches to the heater box. To get the fault codes you will have to put in service mode
will see what i can find

you have the one with the pump fitted directly to the drum you need to tilt it back and climb under the machine and the pump is there. bit tricky to empty so you can check it

30w fan motor not much of a saving when you’re running a 2000w heating element.
I wonder who come up with that bright idea after the the many years that fan ovens have been produced.
Every day is a school day!
    Cheers.

have you met the hotpoint cooker that fooled me

got called out to cooker and fan was stiff so changed motor. had the unit sat on a work mate with the door off and was tring to make sure it was ok before i put the door and covers on. all i was getting was the odd click from the board and the grill element was warming up slighlty. no matter what i tried the oven would not start
turns out the board does a sensor test by using the grill element and wont start the oven untill it senses a rise in temp. having the door off made this impossible
