well you can assume the switch works as long as the light turns off

assume when you operate the sw by hand the light goes out but the fan does not start plus it still beeps

cant see how this one displays fault codes

normally on DEA701 units it the programme progress light and the start button that give you the code looking at th panel i cant see any light that would tell you if its washing , rinsing etc

what struck me here is the words not spinning fast enough

since this motor goes through gears it should not spin at all unless its moving the brew unit

top of the tree is miele
next down in my opinion is probably Smeg

followed by bosch / neff / seimans which are the same but not the cheaper models with plastic tank floor

And also, with the Miele, can standard dishwasher tablets also be used regardless? I saw a slot for such tablets in photos of the product. Many thanks.

oh i agree but you will pay extra for the facility so why pay if you dont want to use it

prob not a lot of difference in wash quality but never studied it

well the heater on the miele is much more robust, the bosch one is prone to failure. lot of people have no problems with it but you have to make sure you keep filters and bars clean as poor water flow can cause problems
Its a pity as the heater in the older units never went or at least i never had one go but the later ones I have changed lots of them as other engineers will tell you the same

on the plus side the model you have chosen has an all metal tank. the cheaper model are prone to leaks from the tank as the floor is plastic

you have also chosen one of the more expensive miele units with auto dose. this would mean you have to buy their detergent packs to be able to use this function. if you pick a model without this function its cheaper and you can use the normal fairy or other brands of tablets

some of the vents used to be in the door. they left a gap in the door seal at the bottom to allow it to escape. which meant you would never know it was there
