you need both to be certain but they are panasonic parts so dont use the Neff ones

    one word of warning
you are dealing with 5000V DC you dont get to touch that twice and in fault conditions it can be live after you turn off and still kill you

really better left to a professional

but you cant buy a cable and the flex guide acts as a flex grip. you may be able to get the cable out of the guide and secure it inside somhow but as a professional we have to scrap the motor unit

its unusual to be that low but if the 3rd colour is black and not brown then yes it is

    its also a fusible resistor

I would try swopping the valve coil
    much cheaper and quick

my guess would be blockages on the dispenser lid

its an earth fault that blows a trip and the main board is not earthed so it cant be that. yes if something had gone bang it may blow the trip but that would mean something would stop working and you have not got that

trips can blow for all sorts of reasons, including bad joints in sockets

so see how it goes and if it trips again try a different socket

assume you had no signs of water in the base

big problem with these is finding the british part no. in this case found the answer on Aswo

look up part no C00519528 I think it looks correct but getting some silly prices

Aswo list it at £76 plus vat etc but 3 to 4 weeks delivery

These power chips are protected. if the output is short circuit they dont blow.

changed lots of these and some have blown their tops off and never had one go bang after installation. There is often a 3 watt fusible resistor in circuit as well and these blow when the chip do. you need to find this resistor and check it

not used one but there must be a way of cloning the card so it erases a copy

    also am sure some of the engineers on here are able to take software of old boards to programme the new ones but cant be 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}

have no idea what that is

miele parts tend to have part numbers stamped on them, any on this ?

have merged topics it makes things easier

if the tny chip is at fault it just shuts down with blank display, assume yours does not

does it shut down as the heater energises ?

the motor is fairly simple but as with all motors it has a protection stat in the windings. it sounds like the stat goes open circuit and soon as its energised. if you leave it to cool down then it does it again.
As an engineer would test for power both live and neutral at the motor

a unit of electicity is 1 KWH so if you run a 1000w fire for an hour it uses 1 unit of electric

your eco cycle uses 0.84 Kwh or 84{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of a unit
the rapid cycle uses 0.4 Kwh which is 40{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of a unit

so based on a unit price of say 50p the eco cycle costs 42p and the rapid cost 20p
