Moderatorpossibly yes
i would be measuring the output voltages and input voltages of the circuitinput voltages on the input caps around 300v dc ( be careful dangerous )
out put voltages on low volt caps judging by relays will be around 12v DC

Moderatorthe timer measures the current going to the pump to determine if its empty so as the pump wears it draws more curent and upsets the balance
even though the pump seems to be running okDave

Moderatorsmeg tech can be a bit difficult but you vneed to find how the pyro is started. from what i can see it may be the clock
if any parts are needed you also need more info off the plate as there are 4 or 5 variants of this model

Moderatorwell it gets harder now
could be heater as some units only fail when hot
could be a faulty socket so try another one
does it trip when its washing or spinning
try to find out what its doing when it tripsDave
electrofix
Moderatorcant say fan speed as all ovens are different
you may need to chage the motor as the oil will probably fail quickly when hot

Moderatorcheck for your leak

Moderatorwell there should be no way a multi meter doing a volt check should blow a trip when just measuring voltage
Dave
electrofix
Moderatormulti meter should have been set on AC volts and it should not have tripped

Moderatorin that case it is most likely a fill fault
cant take you to exact part as you dont list model but on a lot of units there is a reed switch either on a little board or seperatly
(impellor jug) that counts the water in. this is the first thing I would swop and see what happensDave

Moderatorchek the fan is free to turn and runs at full speed
if that fails try changing oven stat
