Moderatorto attach pic you have to host off site and post public links
assume as its under warranty you have beko trained engineers out so if they cant get it right no one can as they can afford to put parts in just to see

ModeratorAssume your saying the drum does turn on spin so we can rule out motor problems
so i would head for the board and look for bad solder joints on relays
also we would need complete model number and Pnc number to look any circuits up

Moderatoreven the owners manual attached to the tech info on this machine tells you to go through the menus to turn on and off the feature
thought it may have been you were in europe somewhere ( as you posted in a european forum) and uk models were different but your ip comes up as Manchester

Moderatorfirst thing i would check is the on off switch itself
had a few of these fail but if you strip the box open, find the switch and use a very small amount of wd40. the push the sw on and off a few dozen times you can often get them to work againalso have you checked the socket its plugged into is ok ?

Moderatorsee what you mean
thought it may have been LED
the smart board is an energy saving unit that makes sure the light cannot be left on. it will be the smart board thats faulty and probably the power supply on that boardthe sensors are fed from the board but the voltages and current used is so small its unlikley you would get much on a meter. they use a seperate transformer on the main pcb to make sure of electrical isolation
what you can do is check the sensors are clean and no contamination

Moderatorhave never worried about price, they are what they are. You just have to pass it on
also with connect look up WOW discounts on ebay as its connect selling retail. A lot of the time cheaper than trade

Moderatorseem to rememer somewhere that you could get F08 with new board and to tap relay with a screw driver. some machines test heater relay by energising it momentarily and thats when F08 pops up
but also as said above check for heater earth problems and continuityDave

Moderatorrocker wrote:Hi Dave..Did that, it then drains the water and spins..ends cycle and door releases…great…set up a new wash cycle same keeps pumping..?? John
assume the pump stopped at the end of the cycle which means the board can turn off the pump
so I would think its either
pressure sw or board softwarecant access Hotpoint tech anymore so cant check for known issues
