    no
    fastest way to find out

disconnect element and run a rinse

    if ok change heater

get this fault a lot on various machines. heater has slight earth fault but not enough to blow trip but just enough to upset the electronics

so its not no power, it powers up but wont start. was that what the old board did ?

E23 is a door lock error

does it do that all the time ?

    agree does sound like bearing

on the earlier Aeg units the bearings are in a cast spider that bolts to the back of the drum and also supports the motor

if yours is one of these you need to remove it and inspect the drum shaft for signs of damage before you look at replacing the bearing. Aeg at the time only supplied a complete spider but there are bearing kits available from other sources

    ok part no seems correct

assume you have tried or checked child lock

what was the reason for changing the board. assume from above it was no power from above

did you check D7 on the board for short circuit. very common reason for no power on these boards

Bosch / siemans dont give access to service info so unless anyone else on here has access then your stumped

does it get too hot on wash cycle or does it seem ok ?

it could be a stuck relay feeding the element. have you checked that ?

there is more than on contact on the switch that turns the oven on
one of those contacts may control the fan along with a thermostat to keep the fan running after cooking

sometimes its a faint crack on the solder joint and you need magnification to see it

why not refloat all relay joints and see what happens

you need to put it in service mode and see if there is a fault code
