you could try one long shot
try turning the tap down a bit to slow water input

what my thinking is , if your reed is not reacting quick enough it may miss some pulses.
it is a long shot and probably will fail but its free to try

after that it sounds like the board is not getting the info from the reed so it may be a board fault

if it is a control panel fault you cant do it yourself

panel comes with no software and has to be programmed

its read vertically from the bottom and its binary

first lamp is 1
2nd lamp is 2
3rd lamp is 4 etc

then you add them

so i think thats fault 3

it is a feed from the block on the same live as oven light and spark ignition

you need to trace the live wire back from the timer

check wiring from reed sw back to the board

ok let me have all the models and numbers off the label inside the door

need to see which motor is fitted

turn on and see if motor runs when you give the drum a push

of you push the drum does it seem to move ok

there will be resistance from the motor and belt but it should move

are you testing with or without load ?

took a bit but we made it

check the board for blown components

pump is fed from terminal 9 connector KN4

find pump triac and check

board shows up as £40 from aswo =vat etc should be part no 1739160200

to be accurate on part no would need serial no as sometimes part no changes when you add it

you can see the screws but the access is through the knob

agree whirlpool used to use these motors, changed loads of them. if its powered and not running then change it

looks like part no is 41020655

in actual fact the 600mm is the gap the kitchen fitter should have left and they dont sometimes,
seen it loads
