Moderatorhoove tech is a complete nighmare but the few docs i found say E22 is a heater problem
cant say for certain as Hoover is transforming into Haier. so later machines will probably be based on Haier technology so will have a different fault code table

Moderatorok is the door closing all the way to allow the lock to work ?
all parts are shown seperately but typical miele some are not cheap
Dave

Moderatornfrom what i can see yours is a heat pump dryer so has no reset button
if its lights LD3 and LD5 its a problem with the sensor on the heat pump
fault reads ” compressor NTC is disconnected”
NTC is a thermostat

Moderatorall switches are a potential failure
you would need to check the operation with a multimeter
Dave

Moderatorthere will be switch inside the lock that tells the computer when its closed
if this switch is not operting correctly it wont lock
bad news is fault could also be the board not working properly and that will cost. lets hope its a door sw problem

Moderatorfirst thing on any board is to look for fuses. a lot of fuses on miele dont look like standard ones as they are soldered in
next look for bigger low value resistors. these resistors normally under 100 ohm do 2 jobs. A) the reuduce current surge on switch on and B) they act as fuses
have you tried QER as he is still going as far as i know

Moderatoryou have to have a flue at the back of a gas oven to let out burnt gasses otherwise the flame would not burn properly which is dangerous.
set the stat on high. close the door give it 10 mins or so
then open the door a bit so you can see the flame and turn stat down and the flame should reduce
the same goes if you turn oven on regulo 2 then close door. take note of flame height as you close the door and check it 10 mins later and flame should be lower as it gets to temp
Dave

Moderatorthe temp of the oven is controlled by a temperature controlled gas valve
if this has failed then it will need replacing by a gas safe engineer

Moderatorpouring water in probably wont work as there is no pressure switch to detect. they do use motor current to detect water presence but its the reed switch that does most of the work
the flow is not massively critical as the unit has to be able to work in various flow rates, was only thinking the replacemant was misplaced or not switching fast enough

Moderatorok found a manual
let me have your email add

Moderatorwell as an engineer I would be measure voltages at the heater
we need to try and acertain if the board is turning off the heater or is it something else like an overheat stat
