Definitely replace the complete wiring harness. Original harness and switch had the full load running through the single contact at the rear of the switch. This has been changed to split the load through 2 or 3 contacts. Save yourself the problem of a revisit in 2 months time and replace the lot now. Comes with a clear wiring diagram. 🙂

    E34 or E45 ❓

If it is E34 then it is probably the Analogic (electronic) pressure switch.

Not too expensive to try one on. A lot cheaper to try that first than the module. No real way to test them outside of an electronics workshop as they work on frequency. 🙂

Holders are still on the front air duct. 🙂 You will find front felt and bearing pads in the kit. Can be awkward to get drum back into position with new parts on but kit normally works. They have also modified the back panel to give more clearance where the drum edge runs past the air vents.

Part number is printed on the circuit board itself down one of the short sides. Always worth checking as there seem to be a lot of variations on these. 🙂

Thanks Iadom but already got it and still can’t work this one out. Trying new pressure switch and pcb to motor harness next out of desperation 🙄

Water bottle behind the two drawers in the fridge will be frozen. 🙂
Check the customer is not running the fridge too cold ie. below 3C or has been away for a few days without water being used. You may have a problem with the fridge defrost circuit. 😥

Mike, I am not 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} on this but I would think the 60 seconds is refering to changes in the level switch’s during a wash cycle when drum agitation would be picked up by the analogic but not the mechanical pressure switch. If the two are giving different readings when the machine is first started then I would assume the module would pick it up as a fault immediately. I have found these boards to be quite reliable, unlike the analogic pressure switch’s which can stick (always worth giving it a light tap on the top to see if the rod has stuck inside). Unfortunately I do not know of a way to test these and it is a case of trying another one in its place. Go for the cheapest part first 🙁

Re: Fault Codes on AEG Lavamat 74335

Last known error code is displayed at the second last selector position before the off position if you are turning it clockwise. (normally a spin position). If you split the 8 lights into the top four and the bottom four, then the top four are the first digit of your fault code and the second four are the second digit. Taking the top four then count the bottom one as 1, the second one up as 2, the third one up as 4 and the top one as 8. So if the bottom two are lit then that is 1+2 = 3. So the first digit of your fault code is 3. Do the same with the bottom four lights and if the third one up is lit then it is 4. Therefore your error code is 34. Hope that makes sense 🙄

Fan does not come on until the element has heated to a certain temperature so ignore the fan and concentrate on the power to the element problem. Check diagnostics for an error code.

Re: Samsung SS20WHI/XEU american style fridge/freezer

Problem with the defrost cycle on freezer (or fridge if it has a frdge evaporator). When they go onto defrost the display temperature is locked until after the defrost is completed. If the defrost element does not come on then it will sit on the defrost cycle until the defrost sensor reaches the required temperature. Check the defrost elements and thermal fuse. Also replace the defrost sensor as they have now been modified to give better protection against moisture entering and giving an incorrect reading. Switching off the power will cancel the defrost cycle and it will work ok again until the next time it goes back onto defrost. 😕

Double oven units where the bottom oven burner is about two inches off the floor with a metal plate between it and the floor. No signs of heat on the metal plate but the floor boards can be burnt right through to the joists! 😡

Steve the code you have is definitely right and the part number is right so I still think you have another fault somewhere on the machine. Did you see any visible signs of damage to the old board? 😕

    Re: AEG washer drier prob.

Display will only show faults which the customer can do something about ie. fill, drain, door lock. The only exception is E90 for an electronics fault. All of the other codes are hidden and can only be seen if you go into the diagnostic system. Check on TDS for entry to the diagnostic system. 🙂
