    did you have fridge door shut..as fan wont come on
    also their is a door magnet type switch in freezer section as well so you wont see fan run if frz door open

    if you look closely at frz you can see where door magnet is..put a magnet to it this will activte fan..

    hope this makes sense

    idea did sound good and if it works as planned should be very good,
    although i did get the feeling i was going to end up
    signing for a time share appartment as well.

    update on this job…went back with diverter valve…and guess whatt

    it cured the prob…

    so if you get a smeg making a chattering noise whilst filling its likley to be diverter valve

    bottom vent open to wide, think its same as lg..
    close vent it sits ay salad tray area,
    im sure lg were advising to block vent to prevent this ??

    these f/f built for asian market where they like to store meat in the salad trays hence the bottom vent to super chill meat

    weve had this isssue recently with connect, and the only way you can get labour back on a recall, is if 2nd fault caused by user missue.

    the other side of the coin is when you go back after 33 days etc which connect dont treat as a recall ..

    you have to take a few on the chin sometimes,
