    Hi

It looks that this may be the answer. Just do not understand why it will work for about 1 1/2 washes then stop with flashing start light. No fault code or end light. Even in the test mode will start to fill in postion 2,3 or 4 then will stop with start light flashing. ( lenght of fill varies and no fault code)

    Hi

Looking at it I think it is now the Connect element ELE3702

Fits models such as 600x slot in cooker, 90xr slot in with controls above hob and xou188 double built in oven

If needed thet also do the fan motor/element kit c/w back plate ELE5119

    Hi

There are two relays that control the direction of the motor.

Relay 1 motor goes anti clockwise

relay 2 motor now goes in clockwise direction and also activates the pump.

Short is that pump only runs when the drum is turning in a clockwise direction

    Re: ctd80 tripping issue now

    Hi
I have had similar faults of leaking and blowing trip. What I have found is that the water from the condensor has not been able to get through to the pump as the hole at the rear of the chamber has been blocked. Te water has then built up at rear of chamber to a level where it starts to leak through to the heater box. Some of the water leaks onto the floor and some is blown up onto the element by the fan causing it to earth. If you take off the heater box you would see a circle of white around fan on back panel plus some going up to element.
It may also go back to the time that pump stopped working and the element got wet and breaks down once been on for a while.

    Hi

Sorry not posted back yesterday as still trying to catch up. Anyway tried removing rh side and module to cut the clip but could not get enough grip or room to cut the clip 😥
So on to the way I done it
    Remove both side panels
Straighten tags at either side of tank at rear where is sits in base
Remove screw either side 1/3 way up tank at front attaching tank to hinge.
Remove 2 screws holding fill chamber and unclip. Will sit there on its own.
On the inside remove 4 screws holding sump, cap for air vent and fill cap/housing(large allan key) plus cap/nut for salt container.
With the door open and baskets removed tank will now tilt forward.
Hope I have remembered everything but did not remove plinth/door or disconnect door hinge springs. Just be careful of lower door seal

    Re: Compressor sizing

    Hi

I had the same problem on a BAAN12 which has a TMB compressor fitted. The various alternatives list on pathfinder had wattage of 148 and 176. decided that 1/5 would be good enough for the job.
However on trying to change found that aluminum pipe off evaporater was connected direct to compressor. 😮 😮
Indesit crownd were quite suprised as well – have had to order alum lokrings now to complete the job.
