Aye, have done.
It goes backwards and forwards for a minute weighting the load, then you hear a relay click on the little heater pcb, but there’s no neutral going to the heaters. TOC tests fine 😕
After a few minutes it beeps and flashes the ‘machine iron’ light, which I think is the 3rd light down.

Sucks, don’t it 😕
6/7 flashes is a water filling problem. I guess it’s the white plastic thing that’s faulty, though it could be the black diaphramy thing, or the PCB.
Unplug first please :zap: And don’t live test!

Jesus wept, this thread is still going! 😯
Try a new capacitor on the wash-motor. After all the hassle you’ve been through already, you might as well risk a fiver/tenner on a new capacitor.

I’d love one of those big square tea-cosies 😀

Rugbo?!?!?! :hmm:
Meh, I think this is a model with the diverter valve which Iadom mentioned above. This switches the feed between the top n bottom spray arm while the motor is running.

I thought this model would be too old to have one?
Ps. Matrix sounds cooler. Like Anti-syphon device sounder cooler than U-shaped bit o’ plastic 😉

8 flashes is a water level fault.
You m/c might be blocked up with ****, or it might be your detergent that has turn the water to sud instead of water.
I’m in a soft water area, so I have constant problems with detergent. For soft water…
Dont use salt or salt-action tablets
Dont use cheap supermarket brands (too soapy)
Turn your rinse-aid release to the minimum
Dont use tablets at all in slimlinesAgain, that is for soft water areas
If you’re venturing inside your DW, unplug it first please

ParticipantRe: Bosch SHV43a – repair or replace?
Have you cleaned the main feed pipe from the matrix* into the DW tank?
Is the heater working, and does your motor maintain a constant speed?
Ps. Obviously you know, but for other people reading this….
Unplug the machine first! :zap:
*That’s what I call it, though me bro, the BSH-guy, laughs at me for calling it that.

ParticipantRe: Bosch lower spray arm not rotating
There won’t be a pattern version!
Have you check to see if it is blocked up. All the ones I’ve had have been blocked, so luckily I haven’t had to change one of these yet :snig:

ParticipantRe: CI555WH noise
Mr Seed! He called us out to his ISE5 2 or 3 times complaining about a noise knocking that just happened once in a while. I could never pinpoint where this noise came from 🙁 And the noise wasn’t there all the time, it was pretty rare, but very loud when it happened.
Eventually, when the m/c was about 2 n half years old the motor snapped off the tub! Anyhoo, he’s very happy now after a complete rebuild 😀

ParticipantRe: ISE10…covered by guarantee?
I’ve just fit a new door seal to one.
Hair-dressers! Drying towels all day, everyday. Customer complained that the fluff wasn’t collecting in the filter, amd then the m/c was drying very slow.
The seal wasn’t missing, it was just looking a little haggard. The fan and sensor were completely blocked.
The customer is friend, and they’re going to let me know how the new seal affects it.
Ps. The m/c was the very first ISE10 CTD

I’ll consider both pricepoints. £300 and £400 ……..You just have to make sure that your not paying the extra money for style instead of quality 8)

Ish! Just another 100 squid for the really good stuff ❓ (ISE, BSH etc)
It’s a pitty that you’ve been burnt by the overpriced (IMHO) Smeg stuff. For some reason they have a rep. for quality.
Just avoid Merloni stuff and Chinese stuff is my opinion if you have to buy a cheap one.
Zanussi or Whirlpool are OK, unless Don has any objections?

ParticipantRe: AEG 50730 Problem
The DW probably thinks it is still full of water, and is trying to empty it before it’ll start a cycle.
I can’t remember how the pressure system works on that particular model, but it could be something to do with the matrix.

What is it doing during those 60 seconds?
