Ha 🙂 Fantastic!
I wish that would happen to me bro, just to teach him a lesson.
Having said that, that Merloni customer should have been told the importance of keeping the engineer well lubricated.

ParticipantRe: Anybody had scrap nicked?
Nope, but it is something I worry about.
Every scrot with a van sticks his head over our (8 foot high) back gate, and then walks in the shop to ask if he can have it.
I’m excepting it to start happening real soon :/

I’ve grapped peoples/childrens/cats hands or arms to stop them going inside the m/c 🙁 I think it’s some kind of human nature to touch the strange unknown thing.
Anyhoo… back on topic. Martin had the best idea before. You look the customer straight in the eye, and say…
“There’s alot of expensive gear in my van, and there’s no alarm on it. Can you go and watch it for me?”
Or if they haven’t made you a brew, just do what my brother (BSH engineer) does. He says…
“Oh no, don’t say your kettle is broken as well?!?!?!?!”

Indeed, just to give your local Miele engineer something to do 😉
I haven’t seen that particular machine, but the screws are usually under buttons, behind filter covers, inside the bag housing, or even under feet/wheels.
It’s not a good idea to start snap bits off your vac tho! And of course, unplug the machine first! :zap:

Indeed 🙂
Capacitors on the new ISE5 I suppose. I ain’t looked to see if it is an old style bolt-on capacitor, or capacitors on a module? 😕

Trapped nerve :/ Me dad had a whole numb leg at one point because of a trapped nerve. In my amatuer opinion, your chiropractor is crap if he can’t sort out yer back after 5 sessions?
Just an opinion :innocent:

iadom wrote:Did any of you actually watch the Croatia game. An early penalty then a very shoddy display for the rest of the game, Austria are possibly the worst side in the competition and yet they pushed Croatia back for most of the second half.
Indeed, if England where there… 😥
Tonights games should be entertaining 🙂

ParticipantRe: Shattered door
The door glass is available as a spare, but is currently out of stock (with the biggest supplier in the country) which means they are probably on a slow-boat from the far East 😕
If I was you, I’d ring Dawoo, and order one direct!
