I have fitted a couple of the 32X0611 kits and they don’t come with the brackets. Not sure about the brackets but the adjusters are NLA.

Called again today for one last look before I called it a day, But still none the wiser. Other than that the pcb I fitted had the same fault as the original ie overheating completely stumped.

Called back today to fit fit the new belt, Removed banjo and back panel only to find the drum bearing carrier had nearly riped itself out the drum 🙁 . As I had fitted a new circulating fan 3 weeks ago I did feel sorry for the customer, So gave her £15 for the fan which I had fitted as the machine was obviously a BER.

Have been using the modem on the laptop while on the road for the last few days. Seems to work OK in most places and shows a connection speed of 7.2Mbps is that about the right speed? Customers have been impressed when I price and order parts while at the job and can guarantee to return the next day if ordered from M/P and it before3 PM.

Didn’t try that as the house has a RCD, But will call again to check. I was thinking this morning that I should have checked for earth leakage as the heaters are prone to failure.

Just ordered the modem from Orange, But I was wondering how you can keep track of your download quota. Orange quote unlimited usage but with a fair use policy 0f 3Gb.

This is my 1st lappy £250 from Novatech, Made in China so expect water in the base at some point 😆 Not a bad spec,: 1.75 Athlon, 1gb ram 120Gb drive. Battery time not to good but I have to justify buying one by getting the cheapest I could. If I can prove its worth having I like the look of that thin Apple one. One of my daughters has already shown an interest in the Novatech and is encouraging me to upgrade as soon as possible. Will nip down to Maplins on Sunday and pick up an Inverter.

Have had a good look round at all the options for mobile net access and was going to go for the Vodaphone option until I called my mobile provider Orange for my free phone upgrade today. I was offered the same plan I was on for £5 less and a free modem, 3Gb per Mth for £15 on a 24 Month contract. My next question is: How do you power your laptops when in the van, As the battery life on mine is about 1 hour, I was thinking should I buy a low wattage inverter rather than a dedicated car adapter, as they look to be quite expensive!.

Price Promise
> No callout charge> Diagnosis and repair from
£69.00 + VAT (excluding parts) fixed price regardless of the engineer’s timeIs that a no call out charge or a £81 call out charge? Don’t think they will get a lot of work on my patch with that pitch 😆

ParticipantRe: Dear Mr Masterpart….
Have had the same problems as Martin with M/P Bosch BS12103 brushes and have found that the sides of the brushes need to be sanded down a bit to improve the fit, And I have also made up a thin insulated probe to push down on the brush as the motor is in motion, Have found that this helps the brush to bed in to the the curvature of the armature quicker. I have had the same problems with gen Bosch brushes so might as well save £15 as I have had to do the same thing with the Bosch part, And I also give the Arm a lot of attention with a brush seating stick.
