ParticipantRe: Bosch better than Hotpoint, ‘Really’ ?????
I always recommend and have i’ve had my Bosch for 12 years and still not even changed my brushes yet, even with 2 kids in the house.
I can honestly say that my eyes light up when I see a Bosch washer to repair. I would say 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the time it is repairable and the customer is always willing to have it repaired.
I know they’re not quite as good as they used to be but streets ahead of Hotpoint/Indesit etc imho.grooster
ParticipantRe: Electric ovens leaking!!!!
Is this a recall or modification? Is this something a customer can call beko to complain about and get done for free. It sounds like it’s going to be a big job (expensive) to swap 2 oven doors on this range cooker, especially with it being a friend.

ParticipantRe: Electric ovens leaking!!!!
Just to update, the make is a leisure and the model no is HJA 5100.
I think its just too good of a seal and i’m tempted to make it into a three sided seal rather than a four sided one.
Has anybody tried this.Cheers

ParticipantRe: Belling DB900e Mains Block
Hi, Part no, 082612535 says its obsolete on Connect and Qualtex. From memory it looked like a double terminal block. Didn’t take a photo unfortunately and its not close enough to go and see it again.
I’ll just have to look through a load of images for something that looks similar.

ParticipantRe: Electric ovens leaking!!!!
Don’t know the one my friend has Until I visit tomorrow night, I just know it’s a range and it’s doing it on both ovens consistently she says.
I’ll update you tomorrow but I have to say I’ve never had this happen on any of my ovens when cooking and I don’t cover food. I sometimes get a bit of condensation steam hit me as I open the door but not to the extent where it drips out and you have to put paper towels down on the floor.grooster

ParticipantRe: AEG washing machine l62825 914524111 diagnostics
Cheers for that Martin, this machine didn’t look exactly like the one in the diagram but if no 9 is the start button then I must admit I didn’t try pressing two option buttons together and turning clockwise. Thats a new one for me. Usually always a combination of the start button and another.
I’ll give it a try.Many thanks
