theres a very good chance that theres water in the heater chamber
take of the rear banjo shaped panel.. does water come out? if it does, and its wet in there, dry it all out with a hairdryer and try it again
oh, and testing for continuity between pins IS NOT the way to test for earth leaks

isnt impossible to access, but takes some carefull hacking out and refoaming

well, not always, if stats on full, the freezer just becomes very cold….
worth a check.. turn it down, see if it clicks off, if it doesnt, then is faulty
