if its coming from emw, it will be programmed, yes the tacho has 2 red wires coming from it, im pretty sure your problem will be cured when the board is fitted

and, of course, silly as it may sound – safety first, make sure the plug is removed

    thats an f01 fault

the triac that controls the motor on the pcb is faulty

your probably right with your diagnosis, but the only other thing to check is the wires on the motor plug for the tacho arent broken, or indeed the tacho itself

its nearly always the board to be honest!

the head of the pump may well have broken off

you need to remove the pump completely to inspect it

    power off first

    most definately

u need to put ur fingers into the pump, and ensure the impellor rotates reasonably freely

it might also be worth checking the sump hose ( the black hose from the tub to the pump ) for obstructions

its f05, which is probably a blocked pump

to start with, you might want to check your pump filter ( under the kickstrip at the bottom right)

the pump is obstructed or blocked, possibly faulty

the condenser is probably blocked full of fluff

its the white duct running from the rear of the drum to the underside of the fan unit

be VERY carefl, edges like razor blades… and make sure your to unplug it if your gonna take it off

in that case, its either the mains supressor, or the pcb

the supressor comes with a cable, and isnt that expensive

but its more likely to be the pcb, and that gets pretty expensive to be honest
