    yep

the pcb on the machine is generic.. i.e it fits sevral in the hotpoint/indesit range

the only thing that sets the machine is the eprom(a microchip), which plugs into the main pcb via a surface mounted chip holder, which then programs the pcb

if youve never had a pcb fitted before, you will require one, if you have, then you can change it over

the original ones on the factory produced model where smaller and surface mounted

    hope this helps

it has to be said, but at times people look for bigger problems than actually exist

ive NEVER seen insulation break down on one of those machines, and hotpnt has made a good point

it probably just need a sensor, or even a good defrost, what you did was somewhat excessive

now if it had been an ff72……………….

    2,3&4 is f07, heater relay

faulty heater wouldnt show as a fault, moneys on pcb being faulty

and youll need an eprom too

need serial number, and which motor is on it to identify which one, but hotpoint charge £89 fixed price, regardless of what parts are needed, and to be fair, would work out as a cheaper option for you

    hope this helps

there are two types of paddles dependant on drum fitted

    count the number of holes!!

now yes they just slot in, but thats subject to wheter the locating tab is still attatched to the drum!!

if u look where the paddle fits , about half way down the drum , there should be a small piece of metal stuck up, if its still there all is good

the paddle slots in and pushes backwards, the metal locating tab then flexes and repositions itself behind the paddle to stop it coming out again

if its broken, then it aint pretty, trust me

why get someone to fit it – it pulls off with a pair of pliers, and only fits one way

its only a knob cover required!
