the facts? comet will beat ANY price you can quote like for like, within a certain distance from shop
people arew quick to comment, and are generally unaware of the facts
check the connections on the pcb first.. i had that fault and it was a loose wire on one of the connections
which one exactly i cant remember

i work for comet.. we aint useless… we do the best we can, with what the manufacturers give us to work with
a system problem would be pricey, a pcb not quite as much, depends on the engineer i suppose.

take it back to store.. dismiss the goods out of hand, and get a refund
go to comet and buy a bosch

its an imco policy… tight gits they are
but the pencil pushers deem it repairable as long as cost per job stays low (average over 50 jobs)
id chuck it in the bin, trust me, but theyll throw hundreds at it, u watch!

fit the modified pcb and hope it works
or its a system problem
hoover, when u ask them , tell you to turn it right down.. good answer, and it works, just your foods not cold!
those machines were a pain, its ever since they changed the pipe work to freeze bottom to top, instead of top to bottom

hmm, did megger the machine, but that wont necessarily show a problem with the heater
