1st of all, the float doeant turn the motor off, just the heater

it usually leaks because the minute drain hole in the base leading to the pump is full of fluff, but normally it goes into the fan chamber and sprays water over the heater and blows the fuse first!

its more likely to be an incorrect eprom file
the pcb wont be faulty, but there are several variations of that machine

ive just counted 6 different eprom files on servicenet

i THINK id be ignoring the last 3 posts .. none of it made any sense and wasnt helpful.. as engineers we always advise a safe repair.. yes, it is possible to repair the pcb to component level, if you feel confident enough, and want to do that its fine, but we advise a good, safe piece of advice to help you work safely!

    anyway, good luck

erm, well, if you put that ‘model number’ in gias website. it says its a new wave washer dryer

usual culprits with those is pump blockages or faulty heaters

no…. as long as the parts are no more than £150 (and theyre not to us) then theres no prob.. even then the customer is given the option to pay the extra, so it would save money

id be gettin onto her retailer and gettin a free repair

    just hope its currys! 😀
