yer, they come as a kit, cut and butt, but well insulated

its as easy as taking the rear evaoprator cover off, and unclipping it from the top ofthe evaporator pipe

then .. cut and join with supplied connectors

let me know how u get on

    cheers

Re: Zanussi ZBQ965 Power Card required

itll have to be a new pcb im afraid

and then youll have to code it.. which isnt a great deal of fun

a second hand one would be rare, and a new one expensive

can i ask.. does it have a digital display on the front panel, which displays the time?

cant argue with any of you… fagor are unreliable, and the service network is dire

get a neff/bosch… lifespan exceeds most

    more than capable?

but yet ur live testing.. which NO-ONE on this forum would recommend

and then your expectin things to be to ‘ground’

im not sure im really reading this… please please please, unplug and test the proper way, live testing is reckless, silly and dangerous

Re: At last!! i found a use formy corgi card!!!

aint all its cracked up to be

u read that story about the engineer who went in the back door, fixed the cooker, went round the front to do the drop test (cos she’d had new carpets, and didnt want them dirtying)

missed the spillage on the gas fire, cos he wasnt able to look

weeks later, a sad death occurred through carbon monoxide poisoning

he’ll be out in a couple of years

and all because she wanted to keep her carpets clean

it can be as easy as that

it does enhance your business, but it can be hard graft, unrewarding, and mind-boggling

Re: Good reason for not giving away information…

    yes, but poignant

horses for courses as they say

experience counts for an awful lot in any trade, and people often forget that we’ve been foin the job for 20+ years

safety should always be paramount, and u did the right thing, sometimes i wonder if its worth havin it sewn up in a corgi sort of way, to stop people messing

people forget costs for advertising, vehicle costs (livery, insurance, tax, mot, servicing, fuel) the telephone line, the mobile, van stock,v.a.t , income tax, bank charges etc, etc

then they whinge at £20 for a quote

    laughable really

Re: hvr F/F not cutting in

    common fault that
id try defrosting it first, youll find the evaporator will be blocked with ice, and air cant circulate

other than that, its the black defrost sensor ( attatched to the top pipe of the freezer evaporator ) with 4 wires coming out of it

the pcb doesnt usually cause that problem

    hope this helps
