    Re: Recommend a Washer/Dryer?

    advice?

look at the hotpoint, turn 180 degrees, and run as fast as u can, let nothing stand in your way.. they really are THAT bad

zanussi washer/dryrs tend to be reliable, but ultimately, if u can have seperates, do so, and buy nothing frm merloni (indesit/hotpont/creda)

just look around the forums, ull see what people have to say about unreliable electronics n the merloni machines, naff dryer boxes, etc

    seperates is the best way

and in that case, bosch/siemens/miele arer the best

    hope this helps

    thats the one!!

cheers penguin, now the fun starts

use an old belt to pull the belt over the new pulley

readin other sections, people have been struggling a little.. they are tight

make sure ur hands are protected, its tight, and if u slip.. ouch

    Re: Dyson DC01 Belt Breaking

    yup

    the roller isnt running straight

its because the hood isnt on properly

youll probably find the opposite hood bush has come away

on the other side of the cleaner from the belt, ull see a round yellow (or blue ) fitting , the hood will have come away

bit awkward to put it back on, but it will go

    hope this helps

    Re: Hi

id be checking the internal duct pipe hasnt come off , usually if the machine gets too hot in the front the duct stat should switch the heater off

    very simple to check

if u look thru the hole in the back, where the vent hose clips, u should be able to see a black tube leading from where the pipe fits on the rear to the front duct

itll be very obvious if its wrong

its as easy as refitting it by removing the 2 screws on the back, and pushing it back on properly

was the dryer ok before you changed the belt?

    Re: Samsung Q1235s

hmm 4e is the usual water level code

unplug, take off top, check the weight hasnt been rubbin on the bottom of the presure hose, thats more common than jade goody

seen a few of these in the field, just a matter of cutting down and re-attatching the hose to the switch

oh, and move the switch, ull see why, samsung have mouned it in the most ridiculous place ever

    hope this helps

id be checking the heater too

    does it spin?

u could be a bit more specific.. like i say, 4e is the usual water level fault

    hope this helps

the samsung.. well, just take a look around.. poor is a good word to use

the whirlpool isnt so bad since the changed the motorised baffle
