Re: SAMSUNG RS21DCSV – Fridge not working

id have to go along with r600a im afraid
if uve had the evaporator cover off, and u were competent, ud spot it

sorry, im gonna have to advise get someone out to it, it wont be massively expensive

in here, we can only give out general advice, ive had the email warning me of too much advice, and i take the point that if it went wrong, inevitably, ud blame the person who advised u

    thanx

Re: Creda T622CW Condesing Tumble Dryer

not an easy task checking that correctly
lid off, left hand side panel off (if looking from the rear) ull see the motor at the bottom…

really u should remove the drum to lift of the white plastic cover over the fan, but u can unclip it and lift it up high enuff to see if theres anything in the fan chamber

id check there aint a bra wire stuck out of the holes in the back of the drum first

could be a number of things that, from a noisy jockey pulley to the drum shaft being broke

    plug out if ur investigating

    hope this helps

ah, but they do,they just switch the heater off, so it wont condense, chances are the float switch is jammed!

Re: Hoover H160E – superwash flashing – what does it indicat

well, u need to count how many times the superlight flashes

its usually the yellow thermistor wire not connected properly on its terminal, wiggle the wire, itll usually come off easily if thats the case

if it aint that count the number of flashes, and we’ll look it up for u
incidentally, the thermistor fault is 6 flashes

Re: Hotpoint Aquarius WF000G not hot filling

    interesting question
on a normal machine , yes, two cold valves one for the drawer, and one for the conditioner

as ever with merloni, they try and change things all the time

certainly on some of the indesits, the cold water valves will fill thru either side if the drawer at first , then both activate to work together to fill the conditioner

why? im sure only the good lord knows that.. this is merloni we’re talkin about

just like machines that arent hot fill nemore!
only a matter of time before merloni change them again for some other hair-brained idea that will probably be even more unreliable

    hope this helps

    Re: Scandinova DF902SS-A fan element

    ouch

i fitted one of them last week!!!

although not massively difficult, your machine happens to be a dual fuel doesnt it?

which also means executing a repair to a gas appliance, and theres agood chance ull have to disconnect it to get the cooker to a place where you can gain access

myself, and other engineers would generally have to recommend that you have a corgi registered appliance engineer to repair it, mostly for safetys sake, the cooker would have to be tested for gas soundness after the repair (that is unless you are corgi registered, then thats fine)

    hope this helps

Re: hoover performa 1100 ac110 door broken

youve probably got a blockage in the pump!!!

or summink else has gone wrong, which made the machine stop full of water

get a bucket, release the grey ribbed hose from the rear of the machine, and drop the end of the pipe into the bucket, below the water level in the machine
the water should drain out through gravity

thatll allow you to open the door, and get yer clothes out

    plug out if your investigating

id ask penguin about the price of the motor.. i wouldnt have thought they’d be over £100, u have to take the motor off to check the brushes

    Re: Hotpoint EW84K Electric Cooker

why would anyone want to use the timer on both ovens?

surely that would involve 2 clocks, since u couldnt (theoretically ) wire both ovens to come on at dif intervals.. im not aware of ANY cooker that does that

😯 im sat here waitin now for someone to come and correct me, and he’ll probably have flippers, and wear a red mask 😆
