    Re: Hoover Fridge Freezer

quite possibly the door switch is faulty

what that does do, is leave the light on permanantly.. that then leaves a bulb that has become warm inside the fridge , and its impossible to cool

take the bulb out and run it without it in, see if it works

    that’ll answer the quaestion

    Re: samsung rs20 f/f

    hi beetlebug

yes defrosting it cures this fridge freezer problem quite often

if the problem re-occurs frequently, there is a modified evaporator cover available or the thermal fuse is faulty

unfortunately there are people around who, because they bought a fridge freezer that went faulty, think someone else should burden the cost

things break down, its fact, if u read up on fride freezers in general, the amount of times the compressor switches on/off.. how often fans run, its amazing they last as long as they do at times

things change, times change, designs change

see how you gon on.. its not a hard fault to cure if it re-occurs

    hope this helps

    lol, ud make no money….

yup, on later models, the eproms diff, so thats gonna be a prob.. however, its down to the termistor i believe, and that can be swapped over

mybe, just maybe, if they designed summink that actually worked, it would be better

when was the last time ne 1 changed a bosch washer dryer fan motor?

all the need do is make a fan motor with a split pin and a proper nut on it instead of that stupid collet idea and itll be fine, but oh no

i wish i got paid the money the ppl who think these things up

Re: Hotpoint FFS70S – Blocked fridge drain hole

    ggrr.. how old is it?

some of them had the drain pipe foamed in too close to the evaporator, and water froze in the pipe

    does it feel hard?

i normally take the pipe off the rear of the machine and blow up it

only way if it aint iced up

i agree, but that was funny, dont suppose it would have been if the cat had died

strange, cos some woman got 4 months today for putting her bf’s cat in the washer at 60degrees

the cat died of heart failure ad severe burns

Re: indesit widl 126 dryer fault

    theyre all common

    its an indesit after all

just generally check for fluff blockages and/or things not functioning

condenser blocked is probably on the money.. but id get someone in, i once cut myself real bad getting one of those out, theres a LOT of sharp edges in there, and takes some experience getting it out

and i wouldnt be surprised if you fitted the fuse and it worked ok

keep us in a job, merloni!

UNPLUG if u want to investigate, and wear thick, protective gloves

Re: hotpoint aquarius ctd00 not rotating, making buzzing noi

    how late is it?

on later models, theyve got the relay built into the door lock, and it would certainly do that if the lock activation pin was missing… im sure though that that particular variant is so new it should be under first year

    next question?

is it the pump u can hear?

cos if theres nothing from the motor at all, as sure as eggs are eggs ittl be the timer if thats the case

omg they really are poor arent they?
