no, they used to run on the wheels for support, which gave the horrible rumbling noise, some were produced with a few pads and wheels but they have usually worn out, they are the same as any of the other hotpoint front pads, so you can fit some of those if it saves you having to order a kit, just check the belt at the same time

time to send arsenal to the french league, how can anyone english support a side that started with 11 foreigners and the whole subs bench was…….foreigners!!, at least Man Utd started with 5, Chelsea 5 & liverpool 3, now if Arsenal had 4-5 then that would be a full England squad in the top 4 teams!

have you tried a gentle blow into the p/sw to see if it will cut off at normal level? its an odd fault for a WMA machine, especially if you have changed the p/sw, excuse me if this sounds a silly question, but how did you get the motor out to do the brushes, was it through the bottom or did you take the front panel off?, just wondering if you may have a plug back on wrong on the module?

the rear access panel is plenty big enough, they are used by almost every engineer on a daily basis to access pump, sump, motor & the main module, but please be sure to remove the plug and leave out for at least 5 minutes before even removing the cover!,

    Re: hotpoint wma44 flood protection

if its going into overflow then it must be getting pressure from the sump up the hose, so you can rule that out, i would go back to when you changed the brushes, something in the wiring must have got disturbed somewhere?

its always odd that customers let cookers get so bad over the year then have a panic the week before xmas when they call you out cause 2 of the hob elements failed in the summer, the oven packed up in october and now they want it all fixed, TODAY!!!

6ft x 6ft room?, so you have 4ft x 6ft of space left, with the machine & freezer in place?, assuming the dryer is correctly fixed to the washer (um i wonder?), then you would rather spend a whole day dragging a machine through the house, dropping it on its end (where the suspension will probably come adrift), then pulling it back into the room again?, ok, have a good day, i think its already been mentioned, but you should be able to do this job in the room before your cup of tea is cool enough to drink!

and im sure your wife will heap loads of praise on you when, as kiddo has warned you, the machine bursts into flames because you have tampered with something that is not adjustable, even to engineers, still as long as your happy!, oh and whats the need to ‘drop it on its end?’

    Re: Hotpoint WF630 flooding problem

there is no adjustment on them, still sounds like the sump is blocked & causing machine to not correctly measure the water level, also trying to spin with too much water in it

hi, most likely is the relay itself, easy way to tell, when it shuts down if you open & lose door & press start the relay should ‘click’ before anything else tries. it prob wont, common thing to go, no click = duff relay, when its cooled down it will start again for a few minutes, easy cheap fix
