Do a quick Google for CPC, they may have them.

    Re: Questions

Almost bagged another on Saturday, however the customer decided to have a new armature fitted to her Hotpoint 95630. Its only 21 years old, so not quite run in yet. 😉

She expressed interest in ISE but wanted much more information than the small flyer or I could give her, such as accurate dimensions, and a full spec. I could have told her to have a look at a Beko in the shops but thought better of it. 🙂

She has vowed that this will be the last repair but she says the washer is part of the family. 😯

If you could at least update the machine specs thread to include this information, I could print it out for the moment.

    Jim.

    One very happy customer,

Sorry if I am being a bit thick, which is the serial number the 06-100483-01 in the box, or the 7130081400 at the bottom of the rating label next to the barcode? 🙂

Customer paid basic price, I did mention the possibility of upgrading to the full five year guarantee if done within one month, his wife is in hospital so he wants to discuss it with her. We don’t have any forms yet to accommodate this do we?

That relay is not as common as the 1701624, but is almost certainly the cause of the problem. Quite a common fault. The two relays look identical but have different ratings.

I guess no one else has replied to this post as they are still :rotl:

To any member of the public reading this. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES TRY THIS.

Most dishwashers have ‘non return’ valves fitted to prevent the drain water from re entering the machine. you would very likely damage these using this method of unblocking, you could also ‘blow off’ internal hoses. You should not try to unblock by forcing anything, water, gas or whatever, back into the dishwasher. As almost all blockages can be avoided by taking care of what you put in the appliance, making sure you have checked all round the filter, before you remove it, rinsing the dishes before you put them in to avoid build up of gunge in the machine etc.
The strong chemicals in Mr Muscle or similar caustic products may also cause damage to the dishwasher.

First one going to customer on Monday. 😆

As this is being delivered by my ‘friends’ I have already arranged with the customer to do the installation later that day. This sale was a referral from me. 🙂

One question, I will fill out registration form at the time of this visit. I will put my ISE reference number on the form, do I need to put Star Supplies reference number on as well?

One small step back for man, a giant leap back for mankind, you finally crack the dodgy WMA bearing problem with the rubena seal, then stick Merloni electronics in the machine. 😥

Re: Only 1 of 4 heating elements working on Creda T622CW

Whilst there are four sections to the elements they are switched in banks of two. you should get two or four elements on, depending on the position of the High/Low switch. Live testing is something that is not advisable. or sensible, however, if you have the back panel off, it is normal to see only one element glowing for the very short length of time that it is safe to run in this condition. High/Low switch failure is uncommon, but not unheard of.

To be honest, a simple check with a multimeter or similar on this switch would suffice, without the need to test live with the back off.

You make no mention of actually checking the original elements for continuity with the correct equipment.

Please remove the plug if you intend to proceed further.

Have a look at the small chip, at the bottom, right hand corner of the module, looking from the green track side. Sometimes you will be able to signs of damage., often caused by the door interlock.

On/Off and Led 4 . Motor triac short circuit: check motor & module.

Going to cost a hell of a lot more than Hotpoint’s £90 labour if module has gone as well. 😥

I will try and get round to posting the codes on these but due to pressure of work and my mum still unwell I am spreading myself a little thinly ATM. 😥

Been to this machine today, don’t think NTC is faulty. The base is full of water, had a good look inside without pulling it out and I could not see a float switch. The water level in base was above the circulation pump motor plug, no doubt this is the cause of error message. There are signs that the circ pump is leaking. Is this common, if so anyone know part number/price?
